Engineers from the industrial cities on the other side of the continent invented some special mechanisms that add unique features when added to workbenches: improved crafting speed, improved damage of crafted weapons, better defense of crafted armor, and much more!

Alas, such a technical novelty is a rare thing on the wilderness prairies. But don't be upset, cowboys! Bandits often rob caravans traveling from big cities, so it’s time to pay a visit to them — maybe a valuable workbench gear is lying in a pile of stolen goods! So at the moment, not so much is known about them. It seems bandits have stolen only common Gear. But according to rumors in big cities people use uncommon and even rare Gear! Probably it will appear in Westland one day.

Let us tell you a little about how workbench gear work:

Where can I find Workbench Gear?

  • Bandits’ Outpost and Bandits’ Stashes
Outlaws can steal anything! So you may expect to find Workbench Gear while raiding Bandits’ Outpost on the North and rarely at Bandits’ Stash.

  • Special Events
Sometimes traders from the big industrial cities visit prairies. Make sure to take part in all special events in Westland and check the assortment of such traders.

  • To be discovered
Perhaps in the future, you will become able to find them in other parts of the prairies.

How to add Gear to my workbenches?

Gear can be added to all workbenches of 3d level and higher. If you tap on a workbench that meets the mentioned requirement, you will find the “Gear” button near the "Upgrade" button.

How many Gear can I add to my workbenches?

It depends on the level of the workbench. Upgrade it to get additional slots.

Can I replace Gear in my workbench with another one?

Yes, you can. But please keep in mind that old Gear will be destroyed. You can’t rearrange the same Gear from one Workbench to another.

Will I get my Gear back if I disassemble a workbench with an installed Gear?

No! If you disassemble a workbench, all Gear that has previously been installed on it will get destroyed.
