A backpack is what you really need to carry more of your precious loot since it gives you additional slots in your inventory. Advanced backpacks give you additional protection, allow you to go faster, etc.
How backpacks work:
- Unlike armor and weapons, backpacks can't be damaged in a fight.
- But they will be damaged in case of your character's death. Also, a part of the additional slots will become blocked.
- Fortunately, backpacks can't be completely destroyed. You always have a chance to repair one on your Ranch.
- You can repair your backpack on your Ranch at any moment if you have all the required resources.
- Backpacks provide you with a "basic" defense that blocks a certain percentage of the incoming damage dealt to your character. (More about defense).
- To craft a backpack, you must find its blueprint.
- Find more information about backpacks’ stats and what components you need to craft them in the table below.
