Rick is your character’s old friend and a recurring ally in the storyline. He accompanies you during several story missions and takes part in various adventures throughout the game.
F.A.Q. — Quests Involving Rick
1. “First Steps”
To continue this early quest, you must complete Stage 1 of the Ranch Guide before speaking with Rick.
You can open the Ranch Guide from the main interface by tapping the book icon with the Westland symbol, located near the quest journal button. Complete the first introductory tasks and finish Stage 1 of the Ranch Guide to proceed.
2. “Crime Scene”
This quest requires you to:
— Build a Gun Workbench (found in the Production tab of the building menu)
— Craft a Wheel Lock Pistol
If you are missing resources, gather them from world map locations. Some materials, such as planks, tools, or cloth rolls, must be crafted on other workbenches, which may require additional construction first.
Important: You must craft the Wheel Lock Pistol on the Gun Workbench. A pistol found as loot will not count toward quest completion.
3. “Rick’s Adventure”
To complete this quest, you must bring Rick:
— 10 Strong Ointments (crafted in a Level 2 Laboratory)
— 1 Pepperbox Gun (crafted on a Level 2 Gun Workbench)
All required items must be delivered at the same time. Only then will the dialogue option become available, allowing you to complete the quest.
