Vernon Riley and Dr. Joy Riley can both be found at the Naturalists' Camp. They are key characters in the Paws in Trouble questline, which introduces players to pet mechanics such as taming, breeding, and other related systems.
Quest Requirements
⚠️ To receive the first quest in the Paws in Trouble questline, your character must:
— Reach Level 30
— Learn one of the following skills in the Wrangler Skill Tree: Fangbreaker, Long Journey, or Cartographer
Vernon Riley
In addition to quests, you can bring animals to Vernon and hand them over to the Naturalists' Camp. Animals given to the camp are transferred permanently.
In return, your character receives Wrangler Track points.
Dr. Joy Riley
For an additional fee, you can temporarily leave your pet with Joy at the Naturalists' Park. This option is useful if your Pet House has no free space.

— Stored pets do not count toward your Pet House capacity
— Pets can be retrieved later
