Howdy, partners!

This update brings a brand-new opportunity to Westland — the chance to step into the role of one of Silverton’s key NPCs and have your character appear in town for the whole server to see!

Take on weekly Frontier Games, earn points, climb the leaderboard, and compete for your place in Silverton. Unique prizes and plenty of other valuable rewards are waiting along the way.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.

Become a Silverton Legend

Think your cowboy deserves a place among Silverton’s most recognizable faces? Now is your chance to prove it.

For a full month, your character can take the place of Golden Carmack, Sheriff Schultz, Arabella or Nick Bampo.

Each week of the four-week cycle features a new Frontier Game, a fresh leaderboard, and one specific NPC role up for grabs. Golden Carmack will be the first.

To claim one of Silverton’s main NPC roles:

— Join the current Frontier Game, take on new games, use Tickets and Boosters to earn more points, and rise to the top of the leaderboard.

— Hold your lead until the Game ends.

Once the leaderboard closes, all players will see a special cutscene when they visit Silverton, with Noah Thompson welcoming the winner to their new post.  Your avatar will then appear in town for everyone on the server to see, while other players will interact with the character just as they did with the original NPC.

After a month, the next winner of the corresponding leaderboard will take your place.

First place isn’t the only way to stand out. Players who finish second or third will become  Prospector's Assistants, standing guard beside Golden Carmack for every visitor to see. Those who reach the Top 100 will appear to all players as visitors in Silverton under the title of Honorary Citizens.

Frontier Games

Frontier Games are a brand-new type of activity available from account level 25.

Each week features one available Game with its own rules and mechanics. Play it throughout the week, build your score, and climb the leaderboard for better rewards and a chance to appear in Silverton.

The first Frontier Games is Gold Chase — here’s what to expect.

Gold Chase

The first Frontier Game begins this Monday at 09:00 UTC, and every future Game will start at the same time each week.

A postman will arrive at your Ranch with news that Noah Thompson has announced games in Silverton. Head to town, speak with Noah, and receive your first Ticket. This will unlock the Frontier Games interface. Noah will later visit your Ranch with three more Tickets. At the start of each new cycle, the previous winner will bring you three free Tickets for the next Game.

The very first Game is Gold Chase, where the winner will take Golden Carmack’s place for a full month.

Gold Chase puts you in control of a wagon as Rick throws bags from a moving train. Your goal is simple: catch as much gold as possible.

Here’s how it works:

— When Rick throws a bag of gold, a golden circle appears on the ground. Move your wagon into the circle to catch the bag and earn points.

— Catch several gold bags in a row to build your streak and increase your point multiplier.

— Red circles mark where bags of coal will land, so steer clear of them.  Catch one, and your streak and multiplier will reset. Streak Protection can save your combo after a mistake.

— Each attempt is timed, and the pace gets faster as you play. When time runs out, your final score is added to the leaderboard.

Gold Chase is only the beginning. New weekly Games will bring different rules, mechanics, and ways to prove your skill. To take part in any of them, you’ll need Tickets.

Tickets

Tickets are a new item that lets you take part in Frontier Games.

Each attempt costs 1 Ticket. You can spend additional Tickets to multiply the points earned during that attempt — the more Tickets you use, the more points you’ll receive.

Earn Tickets by completing Threats, except Siege of Silverton, finishing daily Board Tasks, progressing through the Frontier Games reward track, visiting the VIP Shop with an active Super VIP status, receiving them as a guaranteed Wheel of Fortune reward, watching ads, or purchasing them directly from the store.

Note: All Tickets expire at the end of the weekly cycle. Before the next cycle begins, there will be a short closing period when you can no longer enter the Game or spend Tickets. Any Tickets received during this period will still expire with the current cycle.

Boosters

Use Boosters to power up your attempt, earn more points, and climb higher in the rankings. Each Booster remains active for the entire weekly Frontier Game. You can get them from the Frontier Games reward track.

Streak Protection — Protects your streak after a miss and helps keep your combo alive, so one unlucky move doesn’t break your pace.

Time Booster — Adds more play time, giving you more chances to earn points and improve your result.

Score Booster — Increases the number of points you receive during an attempt, helping you climb the leaderboard faster.

Upgrade Boosters with Silver Coins and then with Golden Nuggets to make their effects even stronger. Use them one at a time or activate them together for the biggest advantage in a single attempt.

Rewards

Taking over an NPC role may be the grand prize, but it isn’t the only reward worth fighting for.

Leaderboard Rewards:

Shadow Alpha Wolf — for this four-week cycle, the featured unique pet is the Shadow Alpha Wolf, a companion with glowing eyes. Its attacks have a 15% chance to completely stop an enemy for 1 second, it has Strong Genes, and it gains bonus stats in caves.

Rottweiler — a premium pet dog, awarded to players who finish from 11th to 20th place.

Gun Parts — awarded to all players who reach the top 100.

Reward Track:

Progress through the Frontier Games reward track to pick up valuable prizes, including Tickets, Boosters, Gun Parts, healing items, VIP days, and more. Additional rewards are available through the Premium and Elite lines .Even if you're not aiming for the top of the leaderboard, every Game advances your reward track. It's also a fun way to take a break from your usual adventures while picking up extra rewards along the way.

Take on the Games, climb the leaderboard, and show all of Westland whose name deserves a place in Silverton!
