Old Road is one of the Global Map events. In this event, you must escort a supply wagon and protect it from bandits along the way.
The wagon will move through the location while groups of bandits attempt to stop it. Stay close, defeat attackers quickly, and keep the route clear.
Horse and Wagon Requirement
A proper wagon and draft horse are required to participate in the Old Road event.
Higher-level versions of the event require horses with greater endurance, so make sure your mount is strong enough before starting the event.
Special Items
Like other daily events, Old Road can reward items that are not commonly found elsewhere:
— Pet bowl
— Chewing gum
— Spices and salt
How Global Map Events Work
There are four types of random events in total. Only one event can be active at a time, and its type is selected randomly. The same event may appear on different days, so finding a specific one may take some luck.
Events do not appear automatically. You must travel on the Global Map and spend Energy to trigger them.
— After you spend about 50 Energy, the game schedules a new event.
— That event appears on the map after roughly 20 hours.
— If you do not travel or spend Energy, no events will spawn.
Skipping an Event
If you are not interested in the current event, you can ignore it.
After about 3 hours, travel again and spend another ~50 Energy to trigger a new event spawn. The new event will then appear according to the same rules described above (after roughly 20 hours). This allows you to cycle events until the one you want appears.
