The world of Westland Survival consists of several regions. Each region contains different locations where you can gather resources, fight enemies, and complete quests. The difficulty and resources of locations increase with each new tier.
Starting Region(T1)
This is the first area available to new players. Here you learn the basic survival mechanics and gather early resources.
Weather: mild climate with no special weather hazards.
| Your Ranch |
A key location in the game — the main character's home. A safe place that allows you to build up the ranch, craft items, cook, and take quests. Spawn-place for the character. — Peaceful location, but can be attacked by a group of bandits. |

There are multiple houses: a Saloon, a Barbershop, a Safecracker's house, and a Sheriff's office. You can exchange with traders, complete daily quests, and change your character's appearance. — Peaceful location — Trading available — Quest-givers |

A forest location with different kinds of trees (mostly Pine). You can cut down trees, mine ore and rocks, collect herbs and berries, and open chests. There is a chance to get a local quest. — Enemies: low-level (bandits, wild animals) — Resources: tier 1-2 — Recommended player level: 10 |

Central Region(T2)
The Central Region expands the map and introduces stronger enemies and additional resource locations.
Weather: generally stable conditions without major environmental dangers.

| Canyon Trials |
This Native Americans' mystical place to test your skills by surviving multiple enemy attacks. It is the only location where jewelry can be obtained. There's a Canyon with an Altar in the middle. You need to activate the Altar using 6 rings. Once it activates, various enemies will attack you. Each wave of enemies is different. — Cooldown: 2 days — The main goal: complete as many waves as possible and get valuable rewards. — Recommended equipment: depends on the wave. — Better having multiple sets of clothing, weapons, and healing stuff. |

Mystery Cave is full of ghosts and mythical monsters. Rocky Mountains (T3)
Rocky Mountains introduce tougher bandits and new crafting materials required for mid-game progression.
Weather: colder mountain climate. Warm clothing may be required in some areas.

Cotton Plains (T4)
Cotton Plains contain stronger enemies and higher-tier resources needed for advanced crafting and equipment.
Weather: hot and dry climate. Protection from heat becomes important during long expeditions.

Marshlands(T5)
The Marshlands are dangerous swamp territories with powerful enemies and rare materials.
Weather: humid and unstable environment that may affect visibility and combat conditions.

Boreal Wilds(T6)
The Boreal Wilds are harsh northern lands with advanced crafting resources.

This is the northernmost and coldest location in the region. Here, a strong piercing wind almost always blows, and there's plenty of snow. Rio Bravo Territory(T7)
Rio Bravo is a dangerous desert frontier with valuable high-tier resources.
Weather: extreme heat and desert conditions. Protection from heat and dehydration is essential.

Border Locations
| Rocky pass |
A snowy location that connects 2 sides of the global map: central and northern parts. Initially, it is caved in by the rocks, so you can't get up North. You need to clear your path by mining the rocks. Border location to Rocky Mountains (Tier 3) |

| Old Bridge |
A location that connects 2 sides of the global map: central and southern parts. Initially, there is a broken bridge which is why you can't cross the river. You need to fix the bridge to get on the other side and unlock your path to the South. There are also several trees and a couple of rocks.Later, building the railroad across the bridge becomes part of the storyline and opens the route to the Border location to Cotton Planes (Tier 4)/ Rio Bravo Territory (Tier 7) |

| Steamboat Pier |
The steamboat La Belle regularly travels between the pier and Deepwater. Its Captain, Michel Lourie, is smuggling and knows the marshlands like the back of his hand. Border location to Marshlands (Tier 5) |

| Worker Camp |
You can take shelter in a tent here from bad weather or have some whiskey by the fire. But because of the frequent snowstorms, no wagon can get here. Border location to Boreal Wilds (Tier 6) |
Time-limited Events Locations
| Broken stagecoach |
Appears only for new players or low-level players. It gives an opportunity to get more items/resources with no risk for new players. It disappears once the timer is over. Shows up only for low-level players. It has a lot of lootable objects (bags, chests, broken carts) that contain various loot. — The main goal: loot as much as you can. — Enemies: none. — Recommended level: none. — Difficulty: easy. — It is better to go there with an empty inventory to grab everything you can. |

Appears for a limited amount of time. There are 2 traders. — Mal Baynolds — The Smuggler offers you items in exchange for the ones you don't need. — Adam McCoy — Rarities Trader. The latest achievements in science and technology can be found in his store. |
Other locations
| Bandits' Stash |
Shows up once you find the map. The map can be found during bandits' raid on your ranch. One of the attackers has the map of their Stash. If you managed to kill all of them — you'll find the map and reveal the Stash. — Enemies: 1 watcher. — It is better to go there with empty inventory to grab everything you can. |

| Hideout |
Temporary location with a group of bandits and their leader. Appears upon daily quests where you need to find map pieces and therefore locate the Hideout. Usually, there are a couple of buildings with lootable objects inside (chests, bags). You can break the walls and get into the buildings. — The main goal: gun down all the bandits and your target - Gang leader — Enemies: bandits. |
